The song you hear playing is Red Sector A which was originally recorded by the band Rush. This version is recorded in MIDI format, the composer is unknown. If the sound you hear is VERY cheesy sounding, chances are that you do not have a wavetable sound card. Without having a wavetable Midi sound pretty bad. With a decent wavetable the sound produced should be pretty realistic sounding. At this time I do not own a wavetable sound card. Instead I found a cool program called Wingroove. Wingroove is a software wavetable emulator, meaning through softwae your sound card will have all of the advantages of a wavetable sound card. I highly recommend this program and once you hear the difference on pages that have MIDI you will never want to switch back to a non-wavetable midi configuration.
